The central province of Thua Thien-Hue has launched a website in several languages aimed at promoting multiple activities that will take place in the province as part of National Tourism Year 2012.

The opening ceremony of Hue Festival 2012 will be held on April 7th 2012, with 40 international fine art delegations are scheduled to take part in the event.

The third Ben Tre Coconut Festival, themed “Ben Tre on the way of integration and development” will be held from April 4th to 9th, 2012.

The central province of Thua Thien-Hue on Jan. 30 launched a year-long series of activities within the National Tourism Year in the northern central coastal area for 2012.

Saigontourist introduces My Homeland Festival at Van Thanh Tourist Area in Ho Chi Minh City’s Binh Thanh District from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on February 10, 11 and 12. This year’s festival has craft villages, countryside markets and music shows together with food booths set up in each region.

The Yen Tu Pagoda Spring Festival in the northern coastal province of Quang Ninh opens on February 1 (the tenth day of the first lunar month).

Twenty-four foreign art troupes from 14 countries will take part in Hue Festival 2012.

Central Thua Thien – Hue province has been selected to host the National Tourism Year – Northern Central Coastal Area 2012. It will host a series of activities throughout the year to promote national tourism and lure international tourists.

The National Tourism Year is an annual event which aims to promote destinations, attract domestic and international tourists, and develop local tourism. In 2012, the National Tourism Year is held in Thua Thien – Hue Province and Northern Central Coastal provinces with the name “National Tourism Year Northern Central Coastal Area – Hue 2012″ and the theme “Heritage Tourism”.

A wine gala night, which took place on the night of January 3 in Da Lat city, marked the end of the Da Lat Flower Festival 2012.
